2016 goals....lets do this!

Well I shared my progress done in 2015, and I was very satisfied with what I accomplished stitchy-wise in 2015. I went way beyond some of my expectations on some of my projects, so I'm happy with that.

So, this year I'm gonna lay out a very ambitious TBS (To Be Stitched) list. We'll see how I do.  I have high hopes, as my daughter will be starting full time school this year.

GOALS for 2016:

STITCHING
1. DS2N-finish 4 pages
2. Sea of Roses- finish 7 pages (complete project!)
3. Stitch 8 Ornaments

READING
Read 60 books off TBR shelf

WRITING
Write 60,000 words of my novel (or 5000 words per month)
Write 72 letters (6 a month)
Participate in NaNoWriMo
Keep up on book and stitching blog

Turbo Fire
Finish 2 rounds

These are just a few goals I'd like to get done. Pretty ambitious, but it's all good! Why not aim high? I'm really looking forward to finishing Sea of Roses this year. It will be my first Heaven and Earth Designs finish.

As you can see I drastically cut back on the number of stitching projects I'll be working on this year. I'll rotate between these three throughout the year. Finishing one page and then moving onto the next in the rotation. I think I'll be able to see even more progress this way, and be pushing for more finishes a lot sooner.
If my calculations are right I should see a finish on Sea of Roses by mid to late September, and a finish on Day Surrendering to Night (DS2N) around mid-March of 2017.

Hope you all have a lovely 2016, filled with happiness and health. And lots and lots of stitches!!

Whew! I got tired ready that, lol. Kidding of course. Say, did you ever finish "Coming Home for the Holidays"? I only have the backstitch/detail left. I set it aside after my dad died in 2012, if you remember. I think it's time to finish it.

Happy New Year!!

Hi Jules!!! I never did finish CH4TH. I got sucked into all these crazy Full coverage pieces. And never went back to it. Maybe one day....
