Well, the ending of 2007 has come and gone! And here we are in 2008!! For some reason the mark of the new year wasn't a big deal for me this year, I didn't feel the need to make new goals or to feel as though a new beginning was upon me, I don't know why.
This year will be husbandless for most of it, but I am sorta looking forward to it, as when he returns we hope to start our family, so I am hoping to enjoy a lot of stitching and relaxing while he's away, as well as other things, of course, reading, I have my yearly goal to read 65 books this year, even though last year was a flop when it came to my reading goals. This next semester I am only taking 2 classes, not three, and I am going to try to focus on finishing more projects with my stitching, seeing as I didn't finish any (big ones) in 2007.
I want to work out regularly, since I have started working I have lost a few pounds and would like ot keep it up, with Rob gone, It will be easier, because when I try to not eat as much he gets on me about it, so he won't be here to watch me like a hawk, so hopefully, I will be able to loose a bit more. But mostly i just want to work out and get a bit stronger, and be healthier.
We get rid of the route here in a few more days, which I cannot wait!!! I am tired of getting up int he middle of the night every night, and it is cold out there this time of the year.
Stitching wise, I have been workin gon my snowman stocking, it is coming along, slowly, but surely. I also put a few stitches into Letter C of Erica Micheal's Mini Sampler Alphabet. I have almost the entire border done, and have started on the sand castle. So, I guess you could say I am still working on my smalls, as opposed to working on big projects still. But oh well, right now they are fulfilling, when I feel like it, I will move on and get some work into a larger project.
That is all I have for today. i work two more days then i have two days off!! I hope to settle in on the couch and get lots of stitchin gin during those two days! Bye!

That's a lot of great goals for this year! I've heard that once you start a family there's no time for anything else... so hopefully you'll get everything you want to do done this year :)
Good luck with your goals, Lana. What type of activities are you doing for working out? I'm trying to focus on working out, too.
Good luck with your 2008 goals, getting stronger and losing a bit a weight is a goal I really should have as well.
Enjoy your sleeping in time once your done with the route, and I'm looking forward to seeing your progress on your stocking.
