Things are getting better!

The past two days have been pretty good, I finally got a new job. I will be working 5-1 at night. But it is only about 20 hours! Which leaves plenty of time for stitching!!! And all the other things I love to do! And it will give us a little extra income until!.....drum roll....we move!!!! Hubby got orders!!! To....drum roll....JAPAN!?!?!?!?!

Hmmm...I can't get my head around it! I have never lived out of the country, can't decide to be excited or what? I am worried that I won't be able to get all the lovely stash I need...er want for the next three years! Now I am really thankful I stocked up on all that DMC floss! Plus I have a ton of stash so I think I should be good for three years. It is crazy though!

Well, tomorrow is friday and that means it's Progress Photo Friday...and boy DO I have PROGRESS to share...on not 1, not 2 or even 3 projects...but 5!!!! So will share that tomorrow! Thank you all for your friendship and comments while I was going through that rough patch the past week. I really appreciate it!

Do you not know how many cute and fabulous things they have in Japan for crafting? Check out Yuko's blog. Dude, you are so lucky. Plus--sushi! I'd love to live in Japan.

Amazing news! Japan is beautiful (I've only seen the touristy side), but it is a great place! Congrats on the job! When do you move?

Japan??! That is the dream vacation that DH and I love planning ... as soon as the kids are a little older, we want to go for at least a couple of weeks. Congratulations on the job, on the upcoming relocation, and any other good stuff happening in your life! :D

Wow, Lana, Japan! My neighbors left this summer for an 18-month deployment there. They have 3 kids and were very excited to go. They have a real estate company managing the rental of their house while they're overseas.

And, yes, SUSHI! I'm so jealous! You'll have a blast!

If you get a chance, take a vacation to Hawaii! Everything there is in English and Japanese because so many residents are of Japanese descent, and there are so many Japanese tourists. I loved my 10 days on O'ahu.

Hugs,
Beth

Anna beat me to it - definitely get in touch with Yuko. Not only does she do the most beautiful stitching, but I bet she'd be a wonderful resource to help you out - she's an ABSOLUTE DOLL!!!
