Todays post brought to you by the letters F and G, and by the number 9...

Here are some really bad photos of letters F and G from the Mini Alphabet Sampler Book by Rainbow Gallery, and I just realized that I didn't finish letter F....didn't fill in the squares on each corner....oops....Just pretend it is, ok? lol
I love these little guys, so quick and easy!!
So, here is a question...it's been rattling around in my head making all sorts of racket as it tumbles about up there. Ok, here's the thing, I dearly want to post more, but I feel weird posting the same project 5 times a month to show progress. Although when I think about it, I love to see other people's progress photos. But I guess last October, when I was ripping off finishes right and left I just got used to posting finishes, and not so much progress photos. So, I need to share progress on "Howling at the Moon" (which I thought I'd done last month for some reason, but apparently did not.) And "The Abbey" and "I'm not Sleepy".
So, what are your thoughts? Does it matter if I share progress photos of the same project 50 times? Are people gonna get tired of seeing the same project? I guess if I just share weekly progress, not like every stitch I make, it won't be so bad....I need to figure out a posting schedule, I'm thinking three times a week, each day share another project....I'm probably making this more complicated than it needs to be, but I just don't want to bore my wonderful readers who take time out of their busy schedules to drop in and see what I'm up to, with the same stuff everytime!
And I DO appreciate and want to thank every one who do drop in to read my drivel and leave me lovely comments!! I do enjoy reading all your blogs and I just want my blog to be worthy of your time.
I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend, whether or not you celebrate the holiday or not. We had a pretty good weekend, hanging out with lovely friends and fellowshipping with others.
Til next time! Have a stitchy day!

Lovely finishes! I love the title to this post...so Sesame Street! LOL

I don't think it really matters how often you post a progress picture. For me personally, I generally try to post a big chunk as a progress pic. That is, I am working on the bottom left of the Great Pumpkin, but I won't show a pic until I get it done. Try to section your work out (mentally) and use your instinct. I have no problem looking at the same piece over and over until it's finished, so have fun with it!

Another thing that works is showing the work from different angles...that mixes it up a bit.

It is always nice to see progress pics. I look at them as inspiration and some times we all need that. Post away and have fun with it.
Be always in stitches.

I think that you should post your things as many times as you want! Some people post almost everyday and others post not so often. It's all up to you. A lot of people like to see what you're stitching and I've enjoyed seeing all the blocks that you've finished so far.

Sounds like you were a Sesame Street child! I watched many years of it myself (though mine was as an adult with my children!) Progress is progress and that's what we stitchers like to see. So post away!

Great finishes! I don't show my own WIPs very often, I must admit, as I'm too lazy to keep taking photos ;)

Personally, I wouldn't have a set schedule for blogging, just blog when you think you have something good to share, whether it be a WIP, a finish or something else entirely :)

Wonderful blocks, love the little fox.
I love to see pregress.
I worry about posting a WIP too much too.

I read everyone's blogs and I also post daily of my progresses. My opinion is we may not leave a comment with every post but I like to read them.

Cute stitchy finishes! Your title sure brought back lots of memories :)

I think you should post whatever you want as often as you want. I always enjoy seeing progress pics. And it can keep you motivated on those projects that are slow too.

Frankly, although I love my commenters and have gained so many new friends through my blog, mainly the blog is for me. Some days I think I wouldn't stitch at all if I didn't want to post some progress on my blog. Most of my projects are medium to large. If I only posted finishes, I would only be posting 6 - 8 times per year. Hardly enough to really need a blog. So decide how many posts seem "enough" and post them regardless if you have finished projects or not. I have to say that I like blogs with pictures, even if the picture only shows a few stitches.

Darling finishes, Lana! I have the same dilemma as you - I don't stitch fast enough to show pics of my stitching too often. But, I love seeing progress pictures and cheering each other on to a grand finish! It's the support I love!

F & G look wonderful!

I don't have a problem with you posting multiple pictures of the same project in order to show progress. I love looking at people's progress pictures. I find it very inspiring and motivating.

It is your blog Lana, so post whatever you want to post. :)
