Ornies-A finish and a start

Well, I was able to finish Ornie #7 and start on #9, and put some work into #8, so I feel pretty accomplished on this round!

I like this project, but am getting a little tired of this particular set, I'm ready to move onto the next set in the book!

Not too much stitching going on, I am still on a huge reading kick! This year I cut back my reading goal from 75 books to 60, but I am already on #15 for the year! I probably could have stuck with the 75 book challenge, oh well. I don't know why. I tell myself I need to pick up my stitching, and instead I end up with my nose in a book! I'm hoping to concentrate more on stitching next month, since I am so far ahead in my reading, I can start to slow down and focus more on some other hobbies!  We'll see how that works out!

The Abbey Update #2 for the month!

I actually put in a good 3-4 hours on this during the 5 days of its slot in my rotation this time! There is quite a bit more fill in now! I was hoping to finish this page this month, but nope, not gonna happen!! Oh well. I am STILL really enjoying this one alot!! The more progress I see, the more I want to work on it, at the end of the 5 days I regretfully had to set it down and pick up my Christmas Ornies! I will share them in my next post!

Thank you for reading! And Joyful stitching all!

Update on Snow Valley Express

Hello! Well I hope all my readers had a wonderful Valentines Day! I know I did! Here's the loot! All things smelly! Good smelly though!!! Plus he took me out for lunch and then got me a white chocolate mocha and my favorite-a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese icing at the coffee shop!!! Yup, I'm spoiled.

Next up is my update on Snow Valley Express, and I am really not proud of the tiny bit I did on this,I think I only worked on it 2 days of the 5 slotted for it in my rotation. Then I ran out of the color I was working on in my kitted up bag, and was too lazy to go dig through and find some more in my floss boxes, so there it sat....I worked a bit under the bridge, filling in.
Here's how the entire thing looks:
sigh....I really am not thinking there will be a finish on this before going home in 4 months!!! This is frustrating me sooooo much! I just want it to be over and done with! But in order for that to happen, I have to actually work on it, and I don't want to do that!

And moving on, next up in the rotation-The Abbey!!! I love this one, and can't wait to put some more time into it! Hope you all have a lovely weekend, thank you for all the lovely comments!!! And to my new followers- welcome!

Tiny critters are coming along!

I am really enjoying these little Ornaments! Such easy finishes!! I don't know why I decided to do them all on one piece of Fabric, but I did.  I have now finished 6 and started 2 more! I am over half way finished with this series! My goal for this month on this one is to finish #'s 6-8, I finished #6, and I think I will be able to get #'s 7 and 8 finished.

But for now this one will be set aside and I will move onto the next project in my rotation-Snow valley Express! Yup, the dreaded train! Lets hope I get more done on it that I did last month!

Joyful stitching all!

The Abbey-Feb. Progress #1

Page 8 is coming along. I thought I would try to finish page 8 this month, but I don't really think that will happen. A girl can hope though, right?

Happy February!

I have been seeing alot of blogs that post monthly goals, I think this is a good idea. I do this too, but I usually just write it in my journal. But I think I will have more accountability if I actually post it here. So here it goes:

STITCHING
~ Finish Mini Christmas Critters #'s 6-8
~ Start Mini Christmas Critters #9
~ Finish Page 8 of the Abbey
~Work on Snow Valley Express, (Enough that it is noticable)
~ Pull out Sweet Re-Tweet #1 and try to work on it. (Not sure where this one is, so gotta find it!)

READING
-Read 5 books
-Try to finish The Stand

WRITING
Write 20 letters

I think that is a good list, that along with working out 6-9 times a week should keep me busy and out from behind bars, as my mother used to say!
