That was FAST!

I have another page finish!! I really thought it would take me Much longer.
As it looked when I picked it up yesterday:

Today after a few hours work of back stitch:

And now!! I get to pull out Sea of Roses and finish page 1 of it. I'm guessing it will take about 2-3 weeks as I'm more than half way done with it. We shall see! Thank you for reading! See yah On Cinco De Mayo!

I did it!!!!

I got my page finish!!! 2 days before my goal!!
Now I will be putting this one away and pull out "Web of Life" and finish page 1 (out of 4). I'm guessing it won't take long. Probably between 1 and 2 weeks to finish, then I'll move onto Sea of Roses.  I'm so glad I've decided to do a page by page rotation. It feels good to have a page finish within a month!! Doing it by my previous rotation system it wouldn't have been done for 6 months!! I love seeing so much progress in such a short time.

Thank you for reading!! See yah in about a week!!!

DS2N Progress

Five days ago it looked like this:
Now it looks like this:
I've got less than 2 columns left to finish this page, and five days to do it in to reach my goal of a page finish by months end. Can I do it?! I don't know.... Come back in 5 days and find out!  :)
Hope you're all having a great weekend! Joyful stitching!!

DS2N Progress.

Last Weds it looked like this:
After working on it the past 5 days it now looks like this:

So got a bit more done. I'm getting a bit nervous that I won't finish this page by months end. I've only got 10 days left!
That seems doable.... Except!!! My addiction called Sims 3 has raised its "ugly" head! Lol So the past two days that seems to be what I want to spend all my time on that!!
I've also been doing some reading. Right now I'm in the middle of these three:

And I wanted to finish The Night Watch by months end, as well as get to the half way point of Prarie. And work my way to page 300 in Count of Monte Cristo.
So I've got quite a bit of hobby-ing going on, to finish up this month! It definitely will keep me busy.
The weather has turned nice during the day, with some pretty nasty storms in the evenings and night, so me and my daughter have been enjoying the nice sunny days. So I'm guessing I can't expect to get too much stitching done. But I know my needle will still nag me to pay attention to it.
Thank you for reading! I hope you all have a great week!

DS2N progress

Five days ago:

Today:
It's getting there.... Slowly but surely!
I had a massive headache Sunday so wasn't able to work much on it that day, and just not been feeling great this week. Really tired and just meh. So I'm hoping for better progress in the next 5 days. We shall see. Thank you for stopping by!

DS2N progress

March 10th it looked like this:
This is how it looks now:

I didn't get as much done this go around for some reason. My daughter was home sick from school one day and there was no school in session the day after Easter so I know I didn't get as much done those two days as I could have, so maybe that's why.  But I completed another column and almost completed another, so I'm not disappointed, but I'm hoping to see more done in the next 5 days. I'm hoping to finish this page by months end, so we'll see! I'm still loving this project so much!!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and I'll see yah in 5 days! Thanks for stopping by!

New Stash

I've had my eye on this chart for awhile. I've been wanting to get more Halloween charts so I decided to get this one. I love all the banners in this collection. I would love to do them all. There is a Christmas one. And one that says "Believe " that's also Christmasy, and there's one that has a tropical theme and it says Paradise. We will see if I actually get them all, but now I have one!

The next one I picked up is this:
I have liked this one for awhile so just broke down and got it. It's another big one... The pattern is 20 pages! I don't know when I'll get to this one. But I like just knowing I own it! So! If per chance I just feel the "need" to start it- I can!

I really need to slow down on my stashing! I already have so much! I think I have spent at least 50 or more dollars on stash every month since Dec. between new HAED patterns and the fabrics I bought to do them and flosses as well, and I bought flosses (75 of them) when I got these two patterns, so yeah... I need to slow it down. I shouldn't need anything for awhile.

I've told myself I will not buy anymore stash until I finish a project!  So... We will see how long that lasts.
Thank you for reading and I will be back tomorrow with an update on "Day Surrendering to Night". I think I've gotten quite a bit done so far the past couple days. I'm not sure how much I will get done today. I've got a little sickie home from pre-school today, so you know how that can be.

2 Finishes and a start!

I was finally able to finish this guy! It only took forever! I don't know why it took so long... Hmm? But it's done now!
Here is my third finish for the year. He seemed to stitch up pretty quickly.
And here is my start. It doesn't look like much now, but in time it will be Santa carrying his heavy sack of Toys.

Thank you all for stopping by, I hope all my readers who celebrate the holiday had a glorious Easter yesterday. We had a nice one, it was rainy here, but we had our egg hunt inside and had a nice Easter meal.

I've been thinking about revamping my rotation. Since I am working on quite a few big projects who's patterns are pages long I'm thinking about doing a page rotation. Where I'll work on one project until I get a page completion then switch over to the next in line. I like the rotation I currently have, as it provides more variety here on my blog, but so often after just 5 days of working on a project (especially my HAEDs or Kustom Kraft ones) I'm not ready to pack it away yet. I know I would see quicker progress that way. What do you think? Would you, my readers get bored if I posted the same project a few posts in a row? I would still post every 5 days, though, that wouldn't change.
Well, I got a Dr. Appointment today so I better get going. Thank you for reading!
