Flower Bride progress

Last time I posted:

This is what bit I got stitches in over Valentine's Day weekend:

Started page 3. This is my weekend project, I think I got about 3 hours in on this, so not a lot. And I probably will not bring it out until after my mom leaves next week.  

Still not getting a whole lot of stitching in but that's ok.  Next up I will be sharing progress on Sea Of Roses. I truly don't even know if I've pulled it out since I last shared it. I'll have to check...

DS2N progress

Today:

Stitching all the light colors in that wing is such a pain!! It's coming along though. 

I won't be getting much stitching in now until the 3rd of March because my mom is here visiting for my daughters birthday. But that's ok. We're having a nice time visiting.

As proof, this week I have only stitched 4 hours and 45 minutes! (Since Monday the 15th) oh well. I'll catch up after she leaves... Maybe. Ha ha!

Christmas Ornaments Snowman #1

Where I'm at currently with this WIP:

I actually started him back in December. This was my traveling project I took with me to FIL's house when we visited after Christmas. So this is probably about 2-3 hours worth of work. So, right now it's just a bunch of color blobs, but hopefully someday (soonish) it will be a cute little snowman.

A new routine!

So! I was getting bored stitching and sharing the same project over and over, so I've changed up my rotation again. I will now be working on 4 projects. 

I usually stitch about 2 hours a day, so my rotation looks like this: 

Monday-Friday- hour 1: DS2N

Monday,Wednesday,Friday Hour 2: Sea of Roses

Tuesday and Thursday Hour 2: Christmas Ornaments 

Sat &Sun Flower Bride

So my Primary piece is DS2N it will get 5 hours a week, my 2nd is Sea of Roses which will get 3 hours and my Christmas Ornaments will get 2 hours.  My weekend stitchy is usually not set in stone, as sometimes I don't get as much done with the family at home and we're busy running errands and stuff so if/when I get stitchy time in on the weekends I'll pick up Flower Bride.  

I just needed to mix it up a little bit. 

And when I post I'll be sharing a different project each time. Today I thought I'd share Sea of Roses.

Not a whole lot done, but a little. This is about 2 hours worth.  There will be a lot more progress the next time you see it.

DS2N progress!

After 10 more days of work on it:

I'm now working on column 6. 

I think I've decided to only post every 10 days or so instead of every 5. I feel like this is getting monotonous, because I'm basically showing the same project over and over and over. 

Anyway, next time I post I hope to be on column 9. Then there will just be one more left to go to finish the page. We will see how that goes. I'm shooting for a page finish by Feb. 14 on this, but we will see....

DS2N progress

Today:

The "day" angel has a face! I was able to complete all of columns 2 AND 3 and get a pretty good start on 4. 

I've made it a daily goal to completely fill in 2 10x10 blocks a day. If I am able to keep up with this goal, then I will be able to stay on track and complete this page by my estimated goal date of Valentine's Day. My goal is to finish 10 more 10x10 blocks by the time I update again. We will see how I do. 

Ds2n update

I am 25 stitches shy of finishing column 2 on this page. My goal was to finish column 2 by the time I posted today, but close enough. I'm gonna shoot to finish column 3 by the time I post again on the 20th! 

Hey! Look! I posted on time this go around! 

Thank you so much for the kind comments on my last post, and reminding me that I'm not alone when it comes to sometimes time not being on my side. Sometimes life is like that. We just keep on chugging and eventually things fall into place.  After I posted about my frustration it seemed like things started sorting themselves out in my favor, I'm feeling more organized and getting caught up on some things. Life is good!
