Web of Life page 2 done!

Last time I shared this:

Today:

I love how this is turning out!! The backstitch is really bringing out the colors! And! I got my page finish 5 days before my anticipated date.

And now! I get to pull out Sea of Roses!!! 

Web of Life update

I don't have a before picture to share but I last worked on this and posted on April 30. I'm now working on the 2nd page (out of 4)

I worked on the brown toned feather to the far right and started back stitching the area of the peace pipe directly to the right of the sun catcher. 

Here's a close up:

Not much work being done on it because we are out of town. The Hubs had a conference for work and so we tagged along. 

But I'm hoping to finish this page by Sept. 5th. Can you believe we are less than a week away from September?! This year is flying!!!

Today:

I was able to finish this page by my goal of Aug 20th, so I'm really happy about that! I LOVE that you can see her whole face now!!! I had to include a little bit of the page underneath to get the whole face so here's JUST page 1:

So I guess the next time I pull this out, I should be able to stitch in the whole face/head of the "day" Angel. So that'll be cool!  I am so in love with this one, and would love to keep working on her, but I am gonna be a good girl and switch to the next project in my Rotation which will be " Web of Life". And I'm guessing to get my next page finish on it won't take very long, a week? Two tops, then it's back to Sea of Roses (HAED), so looking forward to that!

Last time I showed this:

And today, 5 days later:

I REALLY wanted to finish column 5, but I failed! I have less than 100 stitches left, but yesterday I just got too busy, wasn't able to finish it. That's actually why I didn't post yesterday, is because I kept thinking that I'd find some time to finish up that column and then I'd post, but I was never able to find the time, and before I knew it I was going to bed, and I hadn't finished it and hadn't posted. 

And again, where you see my needle parked is where the edge of this page is. I'm getting closer!
