HELP! =)

Ok, fellow stitchers, I have a request! Maybe you can help me out. I am wanting to order some things...er...stash =) online, however, I have during my time here reading blogs, seen some positive and negative feedback on various stores. If you could leave me comments with some good stores and some bad ones, if you've had bad experiences let me know which stores to stay away from and if you have good ones let me know. Right now I am leaning towards Stitching bits and Bobs, and stitch 1-2-3, because I like their selection. Any word on them? Thanks guys, I just 1) don't want to wait a year for my order to arrive and 2) don't want to give my money effort and time to someone who doesn't deserve it, or has gypt any fellow stitchers.

Thanx! I look forward to some feedback...come on guys be the good enablers I know you can be!!! lol

I've used 123 Stitch alot, and they are very fast. Even when she has to order it, it still comes quickly. I've never used Stitching Bits & Bobs.

Stitching bits and bobs usually takes a while to send things. I almost always use www.downsunshinelane.com fast service and Amy is a sweetheart. My 2nd fav ONS is 1-2-3 stitch. Good luck on your order!!

I love the silver needle! 123 Stitch is great too. My other fave is, I believe, Down Sunshine Lane. I think that is the name. I have never ordered from them but I know people who have.

Sorry Lana but being from the UK I am inclined to use UK stores which would be more expensive for you I imagine with shipping costs.

I'm with Lee 100%. SB&B is slow. Check out SN's shipping policy before you order--you may not want to pay as much as they want you to.

I have realy good luck with all of the mentions except SBB they are so so slow. Look for sales and shipping, some are 50.00+ FS. Some are having a Mother's day Sale going on right now.
Good Luck!!

SBB may have good prices during their sales, but their customer service is severely lacking. If something you order isn't in stock, they will still charge your card and hold your ENTIRE order for shipment until the out of stock item arrives. And they do not notify you of this.

I've ordered from both 123 Stitch and Elegant Needle and have had very good experiences with them. I've also ordered things from various sellers on eBay and had great luck there as well. On other blogs, I've seen people sing the praises of Down Sunshine Lane and eHandcrafts Online (Mary Kathryn), but I've never ordered from either myself.

If you're curious about specific stores, check out the LNS Report Card board. http://stitchersreportcard.yuku.com/

I have ordered from Stitching Bits and Bobs, they are slow in filling their orders. The one I use the most is Down Sunshine Lane, Amy is super fast and friendly too. There is a link on the right side on my blog.

I love 123 stitch. Everytime I order, I get my order quick. I have also had success with abcstitch and the silverneedle.

Have used Silver Needle in Tulsa a lot. Never really had any problems.

Just recently started using Stitches 'N Things. www.stitchesnthings.com. Everything I have ordered from them has come fast, even when they had to order it.

I go to 123 stitch and I go to Down Sunshine Lane. Both are quick to fill the orders and friendly to deal with.
